Sooo a new dilemma has come up.
A message can have a maximum of 20 reactions. Which means that the voting can only have 20 avatars at most.
This means that either the voting will have to exist of two messages, or we can make an "anarchy" mode, that when there has been voted for 20 people, the other people can't be voted for.
This could kinda punish people who want to vote the last, because they need someone to vote for one before.... naah, nevermind. LEt's just do two messages.

I think we should buff the flute's influence, I think.
I mean, the crowd seeker can find the flute player much faster than the flute player can enchant anyone.
So I think that the fortune teller/crowd seeker/warlock won't learn one's role when they're a flute victim, to raise some confusion.
And the flute player will be displayed as a flute player when the seers aren't enchanted, but when they are, their abilities should become completely desoriented, making it hard to locate the flute player.
If you think that would help balance it.

As it turns out today, the fact that the roles are random, doesn't really matter much. By deduction you can figure out three roles each night.
Which makes me think the role should be nerfed to seeking once every two nights.

Okay, here we go;
Each night, the vampire can choose one player to drink its blood from. At that point, nothing will happen. The victim will be hypnotized by the vampire, so it win't even notice.
However, if that player dies during the night, he will get ressurected and secretly become an undead.
The undead can't do much. They will lose their previous roles/abilities, and their new winning goal is to kill all non-Vampires/undead.

I can explain some of them, then I'll let you decide whether they're overpowered or okay to play.
The Angel has but one purpose; get lynched on the first day. If they get killed on the first day, noone but they will win. If they fail to get killed, they will turn into an innocent.
The Hoe can choose someone each night to sleep with. When they get killed during the night, the one they sleep with will get eaten instead. The Hoe will then take over their role.
i'd call that the Escort. rather tan hoe
The Undead, well, you know how that works. If a Vampire chooses a person, and when that person dies, they become the undead.

But yeah, names are open for a change.
The Town Elder cannot get killed during the day. That's all. When the attempt to kill him is being made, his role is revealed, and he won't hang.
The Infected Wolf can at one point during the game choose a player. That player will lose its previous role and turn into a werewolf.
Hoe is a rather... touchy connotation.
The thing we'll need to sort out though, is what happens when the infected wolf chooses an undead. ๐ค Will they undead become living and then, when they die, become undead again?
Oh, and can the vampire drink its own blood? If it dies, will it become undead? Or is it already undead, but just with some extra powers?
The Executioner can prevent himself from getting lynched one time. If that happens, he can choose someone to lynch in his place.
The Curse Caster can choose one (maybe two, it depends) players to put a spell on. That means that they can pretend like a certain player has a certain role for one night. The fortune teller will then see that role. The Curse Caster is on the werewolves' team.
The Royal Knight has a one-time opportunity to "forigve" someone who is about to be lynched. When forgiving, their role will not be revealed, nor will the role of the escaped victim.
Each night, the Raven can choose a person to threaten. The next day, that threatened player will have two extra votes. I'm not sure which side the raven should be on.

When people are playing actively (to decided what is active enough), they're being given BLOOD POINTS. If they reach a certain amount of blood points, they gain an invisibility cloak, which they can use for one night.
It makes them invulnerable to the werewolves, and they can't be killed.
They can give their invisibility cloak to someone else if they want, but they can also use it themselves.
Once they've used their invisibility cloak, their blood points will reset and they can start earning again for a new cloak.
I'll need to find a better image, but for example, when somebody's roleplaying very good, making super interesting strategies, or saying something incredbily funny like;
Hey, erm... how about we don't shoot with cannonballs next game?
Then we add a little blood sticker to that message, indicating that the player earned a blood point for that.

People won't earn new blood points once they've earned an invisibility cloak, so that they can't stack it all up until the end of the game is near.
And make themselves practically immortal at the end of the game.

In #s3_game_log you have a list of names and a list of roles. I recommend moving one of the lists to this chat. The roles would make the most sense, because they can use @ to search for the player and their nickname.

The idea is that we use #game_for administration and data, and that we use #game_maker_channel for discussions and chatting.
So basically we're doing all the communication stuff here, and we use #gameto store our data/information.
The game log stores information about the game in progress
Including kills, disappearances, turns, creation of CCs and adding of members. In addition to details as to how/why. Eg. @lord Typhus was killed by the wolves/cult/lynch mob
It helps us keep track of what is happening.
In #s3_story_time the list of currently living players is provided to help keep track of estimated game time remaining. And who is and isn't eligible to vote

A few thing though, and these MIGHT disappoint ya;
People are lazy readers. Some will really appreciate your storywriting, and if you keep it like this, people will applaud for that, but we will need to think about that.
What I've seen people do, is give a short evaluation at the end of the story. Which summarizes whether certain people are dead and stuff.
Another thing is that I'd like to keep connections to the real world as limited as possible. You can use years and cities, but preferably no existing ones.
It is in there mainly as a scope of distance, I alluded to the crusades and a werewolf event many times in season 2, but we could easily change the names of the cities and get rid of the year. I'll wait until I get on my laptop to edit the document.

While remembering the fallen members of their village, Lord Galaxx had brought up something Sir Rex had said at the start of the carnage; โThis reminds me of my time in the papal army, and our stint in the Black Forest.โ When asked about the meaning of this phrase, Sir Rex began to tell the story of horror.
โIt was about 10 years ago. I was leading a group of hussars from The papal palace to our staging point in Petranova to rally with the other crusaders. It was to be a glorious time fighting in the name of God. At least, until we entered the black forest. It was late, and we were looking for a place to make camp, when we came across a quaint village. The village elders pleaded for us to move on, before โthe coming of the mist.โ One of the elders told stories of a great evil which plagues the land, and how it transformed those of weak inner constitution into beasts with a horrible appetite for human flesh. Werewolves. Upon telling him our mission, he seemed to want us to stay. He thought that we could overcome this evil, but as I learned later, even those in the service of God were not immune to this.โ

Okay, possible upcoming scenario; when the werewolves can kill twice, can they attack the same player twice?
On one hand, that feels kinda cheaty, although, on the other hand, you could allow this, with the consequence that they might successfully kill a player the first time, and then waste a second attack.
What do you think, @Game Masters? The description of the Wolf's Cub kinda suggests they're choosing two different players, but I've never thought of that option. We've never decided whether that would be possible or not. ๐ค

the curse caster alone can quickly swell the wolves ranks, the infected just seems... too much on top of it with it being instant.

I would tell them they are to be allowed back, but give them a warning, and state that if they break the rules again, they will be banned permanently. Thank them for being peaceable about the ban and not going to extremes such as blocking or slandering the game masters. The server is just a game, nothing more. It is a game we take seriously, but nevertheless, it is still a game.
I wouldn't mind if they blocked me. I wouldn't even have noticed. ๐
I mean, I'm okay with giving these two amnesty. But I personally had the idea in mind to permanently ban people who do not follow the rules.
I mean, if you allow them back after a short amount of time, you're also making a statement about how seriously you're taking the rules.
Blizzard games for example (pardon me for naming the cursed company), is completely cheaters-free. Why? Because of their zero-tolerance policy.
If you get caught cheating even once, you get banned per computer, account and IP-address. It becomes extremely hard (and for the normal player, impossible) to be able to rejoin their games. If you cheat, you're out.
But the strongest thing about their policy isn't that it filters out people so well, but nobody even dares to cheat.
You're not getting kicked for the night, and then you can play again next weekend, no, you literally lost everything.
And the sacrifice of the few isn't that big of a problem. Once a game gets the reputation that it's filled with cheaters, then its popularity will drop beyond zero. You don't want that.
What we did with Supersette today, was really strong. Did you see how people reacted? Be nice, don't harass people, or you'll get punished real hard.
If getting Supersette out was the only message, then possibly a kick would've been enough.
Maybe they would turn into a nicer user someday, and be able to enjoy some Werewolf games with us.
But we're taking the sacrifice of that one player to get the rest to behave nicely and to play fair.
If people see they can come back later, they will realize it's not that bad to cheat - it's just a risk.
I'm especially talking about JR. He's on the orange list.

It contains some new roles, like the Sacred Werewolf and the Amulet Holder, who should nerf the cult a little.
My experience is that the cult is a little too strong, and that the whole game depends on how long the cult lasts.
Where the werewolves have the weakness that their kills sometimes get cancelled (runners, demonized players, etc), the cult barely experiences this problem. If a player doesn't die by the cult, then the only option is that they had been demonized and are now undead. To solve this problem, I wanted to throw some roles out there that make players invulnerable during the night, and preferably werewolves. That's what the Sacred Werewolf is for; they cannot die during the night.
Also with the priestess in mind, the Sacred Werewolf can turn into a regular werewolf if purified by the priestess. This should have a small buff upon the priestess.
It might sound strange, because this seems like less people will die during the night, thus the Vampire will be a more difficult role to play. However, if the more reasons there are that a player didn't die, the less the certainty is that a player did die, but turned into an Undead.
That's the idea behind the Undead. The Undead doesn't have to be big, it just needs to be almost invisible and very difficult to locate. The Vampire shouldn't be able to breed an entire army.

Ok, so i dont know if you can remember, but i promised to get the "S5" features ready for S5, which, didnt worked out because of known reasons. But, i also promised to bring you a nice Web-Based Admin Portal, which, didnt worked out yet. I now already started the Archive, and, needed to include lots of the Bots code in it, so, i now want to at least do my second promise. I woud normaly first implement the "S5" Features, but, it woudnt be worth the afford to get them ready for S6, when, in the end its not shure if they will ever come into action. I hope thats understandable.
I wanted to share the planes for the Admin Portal with you, and, maybe get your thoughts. So: Features: Vote, Role etc. Tracking (General Stats) Last 100 Messages Feed of every Channel + ability to send Messages using the bot All the Commands Using Simple Forms. (These are Admin only, and not sorted)
Maybe Once done Features: Every user can sign up using his Discord Account, and, if they are part of this Server, they will be granted a Account. This account will give them access to Maybe some stats, the role etc.
... I think i will come up with usefull features while making and testing it. For now im just planning the Easy Data Transfer between Server and Bot. From there i can work with Discord & The Bots data.
If the bot will be scraped, it wont be too hard to hook into some other database, and downgrade my bot to just the Discord Hooks.
Let me know what you think, and if this woud be a nice thing. (Also, this wont be a thing where i will set myself a deadline for the next season or something, im not too experienced with larger web projects. also this, or something similar woud be a thing i woud like to do as i private project too. i thought i coud offer it to you.) ๐

Do a check on the winner of the werewolf one. If they are cursed use the change command to turn their role to werewolf ~rm set (player Id) werewolf and add them to the Werewolves secret channel
If not then use ~p reveal (player id) in the reporter then change them to dead.

In short
