I got a random idea, shopkeeper role. Neutral party, as in not part of a team and not allowed to participate in any voting or hold elected roles. So not really an actual player, but not really an admin either. Volunteer position (I'd be willing to do it first time to see how it goes) Each actual player starts with 1 credit, and the shop keeper has an inventory of items with special abilities. The more powerful the items, the more credits it cost. Credits can be transferred from player to player so a player can accumulate more credits, or groups like the bakers or wolves can combine their credits for a more powerful item. Could even use credits as a reward for activity. The trinkets would be game related so one could purchase garlic for a one time protection against vampires, or other trinkets depending on what roles are being used.

This is a spur of the moment idea, but if it takes interest then I can work on making an inventory list of possible items to sell

We're probably gonna change The Hoe's name, but she works like this;

Every night, she can choose a player to sleep with. If she gets killed during the night, then the one she sleeps with will die instead of her.

Then the Hoe will live on with the role of the person she slept with.

@Randium Love the idea you came up with for a vampire! I think it would make sense for it to be a group of it's own though, similar to the Flute Player. Two questions on it though. First, If the vampire is killed, do the undead become killed as well or do they remain undead and continue on with their new win goal? I would think they remain undead just that no others would join them. Secondly, once a player is turned undead, would they keep their abilities if they were a Warlock/Fortune Teller/Crowd Seeker?

I still think we should give them time, but three days should be plenty of time.

12 werewolves as the infected can turn 2 others. Potentially 13 with the dog.

I'm not including the cursed as there will be an ongoing battle between the curse caster and the priestess. Can't always trust the fortune teller, warlock, and crowd seeker due to the tanner. Angel, Flute, and Vampire for extra win conditions.

Lots of stuff packed into one game so lots of twists I think. Lone wolf, cult leader, huntress, barber, and executioner all add extra killings. Gonna be a slaughter house lol

"Advanced Roles"
"Active Roles" (Vital to be given to an active player though not necessarally too difficult to play)
Role I don't understand:
Tanner is OP, I suggest making it 2 players instead of 3.
Assassin in OP, I suggest making it every 3rd night or remove entirely

I don't think the tanner is OP with 3 roles, the fortune teller can easily work around this by making unexpected guesses.

But you might be right about the assassin. I'll ask the @Game Master if we should replace it with the Raven for now.

The tanner can disguise a werewolf to look like a runner or innocent. Now, the werewolf can penetrate the camp of the innocents.

And done. The innocents are doomed.

That's the idea of the tanner.

Does it just give a person if it's choice an extra vote each hanging, or does it get that vote itself? Is there any downside to "threatening" another player?
Finally, please believe @Lord of Galaxy and myself when we say the tanner is OP. It would still be quite powerful if it only got to fake one person, and might still be op at two people which is what we are recommending. As it is now, I can envision a way, way OP strategy for the wolves and tanner. I'm sure galaxy can as well, and if you thought about it a bit you could see it too.

Alright, I'll tell you. He can effectively convince anyone, including a team with crowd seeker AND fortune teller, that themselves and 4 werewolves are the 5 bakers. This would be totally, totally convincing and not only absolutely deadly but un-counter-able.

Perhaps if you had an innocent role that negates the effect of the tanner for 2 people, then the tanner could effect 3 people. but the way it is now.... no way

Also, the no-penalty-for-killing-a-teammate has to be addressed. Right now there is a good reason to try to get the huntress and to a lesser degree wolf cub killed, and very little reason to keep [innocent] teammates alive.

I'm already worried about the "Did you just mislead another player in a masterful way?" part in #s3_story_time, sounds awfully similar to game masters being able to change the course of the game with a reaction. Here's what I mean: most players won't know that single message awarded with blood point was in fact a lie, but when people find out it wasn't a joke or part of roleplaying, which isn't all that hard really, they will understand that it was a lie
